Notorious B.I.G. vs. Moby - Juicy Porcelain (Mashup)
So here is my (Shahram's) first attempt at a mash-up. Two great tracks, random thought popped into my head of putting them together, fits awesome, any issue is probably because of my lack of expertise lol. Take a listen, leave a comment tell me how it is, what issues there are, I'm gonna be editing it and trying to make it better before I put it up for download. Hope you enjoy it.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Maps (Elite Force Re-Fix)
Sometimes when you hear a song (the original [maps]) you think to yourself what a peaceful peace of music, this band is pretty comforting. You listen to it for a while, it becomes huge and mainstream and you stop listening to it. Then you think to yourself, there's no way you'll possibly hear it again, let alone in a remix. Especially a remix with a massive drop that changes the whole complexion of the song. Turning it from a peaceful track to one that will vibrate my innards when I hear it in a club. The guys at Elite Force did just that with this. Somethings are just unexpected.
This is the more peaceful remix of the song (but much more boom than the original) by TGIK, and I really really like this one for casual listening, but the one up top for when I'm in a room with a monster subwoofer that throws my heart off beat. LEAVE A COMMENT SAYING WHICH YOU LIKED MORE!

Deadmau5 - Ghosts n Stuff (Elite Force Re-Fix)
Ok, everyone and their mother has heard this song, especially when Rob Swire's vocals ended up on it. Well here's a remix of the original track. Great remix and a little bit harder than the original. The guys at Elite Force have a few remixes under their belt. I'll post another of their remixes sooner or later. In the meantime, have a listen, download, use on your set (yes its 320).

Two Door Cinema Club - What You Know
I like this song and it makes me happy and that's all that matters for it to be placed on the blog, I don't know much about the band because this isn't normally what I listen to. It's more of an indie pop-rock type of band.

Kid Sister - Daydreaming (Jakwob Remix)
This beat is ridiculous, like please just listen and cream your pants. Kid Sister is a 30 year old hip hop artist from Chi Town and Jakwob is James Jacob, a DJ/Producer from the U.K. Do yourself a favor and click play for this one, and I'm sure you'll follow that click by clicking the arrow to download. In all honesty, I had never even heard of Kid Sister until this song.

Classified - Oh Canada
I almost never upload hip-hop or rap, but seeing that I am a proud Canadian, I am going to tell you about this track from Classified called Oh Canada, great marketing by his managing team to bring this out during the Olympics, great track and I love the lyrics. Classified is on the verge of stardom so watch for him in the next little while. " could do this all day its a part of my routine

Sam Sparro - Black & Gold
It's been a long time since I last posted, but my excuse is that I was in Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Olympics, and I partied hard and saw events so it was awesome. However, I'd like to point out that Vancouver has a serious lack of good DJs, infact, Itunes DJ or even my Ipod on shuffle can do a similar or better job. Other than seeing deadmau5 in concert there, I did not hear any bit of good music, so if you're a DJ looking for a job, try and help that city out but I doubt you'll make much money since they also lack any real entertainment district.
Now to my post, I heard this song 2 years ago I think, but I never hear about it, in fact, it's as if it just flew under the radar of publicity while being completely awesome. So have a listen, and enjoy awesomeness.

Black Eyed Peas - Rock Your Body
I absolutely hate the Black Eyed Peas, but to be a hypocrite where hypocrisy succeeds, here's a track that I actually kind of enjoyed.

La Roux - In for the Kill (Skeam Remix) & Miike Snow - Billie Holiday
I don't know what else to tell you but that I semenated all over my MacBook Pro when I heard the In for the Kill. La Roux is a lot bigger in Europe, and sounds a lot like my previously posted artist, Lykke Li, she has an Indie flavour to her music but this remix is just sex. As for the Miike Snow track, all you need to know is Miike Snow is starting to take the world by storm lol, probably why it hasn't snowed as much in Toronto. ENJOY!

Lykke Li - Little Bit (AutoErotique Bootleg Remix)
To start off with, this song is perhaps Lykke Li's best known song, she's a swedish indie singer and I'm rather certain most of you have heard the original of this song. If not, you've heard it be sampled in Drake's song with the same title "Little Bit" off his So Far Gone album. Here's the AutoErotique Bootleg/Remix. Livens up the track and I no longer have thoughts of failure as a human when I hear it, as I did with the original lol. This is a real nice Saturday tune. What do you think?

Justice Vs. Jay-Z - On To The Next D.A.N.C.E (Terry Urban Transition)
This post is more for the DJ fellows. However, you will definitely appericiate the transition. Both songs are wicked, and when you put two awesome songs together, you get a awesomer song lol. Definitely worth a download and keep in any collection.

Calvin Harris & Soulsearcher - Can't Get Alone (Dirty South Bootleg)
Firstly I would like to apologize for not updating the blog for the past 4-5 days, been extremely busy with school and work and all the other blunders life throws at us. In the meanwhile, I'm going to upload a few more songs than usual. Also I will be taking off the older songs on the blog from soundcloud and just making them available for download rather than preview and download. In the meanwhile, enjoy this post.
Some people have asked me to write a little bit more about the artist for those people who are not familiar with them. Well Calvin Harris is a Scottish record producer and DJ, he's had several hits, most notably Dance Wiv Me and I'm Not Alone (which is perhaps one of my favourite tunes of recent history). Anyways back to the track uploaded: this bootleg perhaps old, is amazing, I haven't heard it anywhere in all honesty and I thought you guys would thoroughly enjoy it. Let me know what you think.

Jay-Z, Bono, The Edge & Rihanna - Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour)
I was lying, I'm uploading another couple of songs before I crash lol. First one from the benefit album for Haiti, it just has to be up here regardless of me liking it or not; its for a good cause. This is more than enough non-electronic music for the week lol.

Kanye West - What it is
People asked me why I don't upload hip-hop, probably because I can't find too many good ones. Here's an unreleased, recent Kanye track, I don't like it, but you might (partly why I don't upload hip-hop, it's hard to find stuff I like).

Dan Black feat. Kid Cudi - Symphonies (Remix)
This song (Symphonies) is an older track, the remix however is newer. Great, feel good song, you definitely have to hear it, and I have a feeling it's going to end up on your iPOD sooner or later.

LADY GAGA - Paparazzi (Religion Remix)
This second song, Lady Gaga's older track in the Religion remix, speaks for itself, I like this a lot more than the original version. Tell me what you think in the comment section :).

A post for the remix and indie rock fans
Don't worry even if you don't like indie rock and remixes, I'm pretty certain you'll still enjoy these 3 tracks. The first one by Vampire Weekend and remixed by Miike Snow, is a great song, calm and collected. The latter 2 from Tiesto's Kaleidoscope album have been out for a while however, they're starting to pick up now so I thought I'd share, both are great tracks and I thoroughly enjoyed his whole album. Contrary to people hating on Tiesto's Kaleidoscope, I rather liked that he changed up his style and went with something different, it's the new indie trance style.

Jesse Fex
I recently heard stuff by Jesse Fex, and I have to say I am extremely impressed. I heard this first track (arguru vs. lonely people) from a friend, and I have to say it blew me away. Then I heard his other stuff and I have to give him a shout out, especially seeing that he's from Toronto and I have lots of love for any artist from this city, yeah call me a homer lol. Here are three tracks by Jesse Fex. (In another completely unrelated subject, I am getting sick of having to wait in a 15 mins line up to get an over priced cup of coffee from Second Cup at school)

David Guetta feat. Kid Cudi - Memories (Gerry Getthat's Remix)
The original song is incredible, but here's a remix to change things up and add a little something different to your collection, I enjoyed this remix for the most part except the beginning, however this gives the song a bit more 'boom' and more 'boom' is always good.
Royksopp - The Girl and the Robot (Ocelot Remix)
And something completely unrelated and as it sounds like a completely different genre of music (it isn't), here's Royksopp with The Girl and the Robot in the Ocelot Remix. Great track, and a little different than what I normally hear.

Wayback Remix Wednesdays
Seeing that theme in Toronto on Wednesdays is wayback playbacks at all the major clubs and bars, I decided to go along with it. However, to change things up a bit, I'm gonna try my best to give you an older tune but different than the original that most people have heard. So I'm going to name Wednesdays, Wayback Remix Wednesdays. Seeing that it is usually hard to find good quality remixes of older tracks, don't expect them to always be a remix. For today, here's a great song by Armin Van Buuren - Going Wrong but as the theme suggests, a remix, the religion remix.

I absolutely love the vocals in this track, and if you think Chris Jones' voice isn't as good in reality, here's a link for you to piss yourself. I love this acoustic version as well (If you want this acoustic version as an mp3 leave a comment or email me at prime.objective@gmail.com) :

Helsinki 78-82 - Cruising
Helsinki 78-82 is releasing this masterpiece on the 20th of February. I love the beat and loving the video. The video fits the song perfectly, it makes me all fuzzy inside and dread the remaining winter months in the cold streets of Toronto. Maybe I'll go ride a bike in the gym listening to this. Sorry no download link yet, no-one but Helsinki has this track as of right now.
Edit: Now that I warmed you up with that song, here's another song by Helsinki 78-82 - So Lifelike.

Kings Of Leon - Sex On Fire (Richard Sharkey and Peter Sar Remix)
This is another older track but I know a lot of people listen to Kings of Leon, and I also know a lot of people that have asked me about this remix (the conclusion is that I just know a lot of people :P). So here is in my opinion the best remix of this song.
